Parenting with Presence and Intentionality
Time & Location
About the Event
Familiar with the multi-tasking, plate-spinning, hoop-jumping that many of us call our everyday? Sound emotionally and physically draining?
One thing is certain, parenting is a continuous journey of transition and change, each with its own challenges. Regardless of our children’s age we’re vulnerable to the conflicts and tensions between our career and parenting roles.
It is our choice though, how we experience our everyday. We can choose to parent, relate and work from a space of intention and possibility. That doesn’t mean avoiding our everyday, it means paying attention with intentionality and presence to what is required of us, shaping and shifting with our environment instead of trying to manage and control it.
When we parent, work and relate with presence and intentionality we begin to operate from an inner space of possibility, we shape and shift with our children’s growth, between our work and parenting roles. We begin to listen to learn and be present with ourselves and others, we become grounded and steady amidst turbulence.
